SANTA FE AQUATIC CLUB STROKE CLINICS

The Santa Fe Aquatic Club will be offering specific stroke clinics for competitive swimmers, Master swimmers and Triathletes that will include individualized work in all four strokes.

THE CAMPS WILL INCLUDE:

• specific stroke biomechanics

• Individual stroke correction with both above and below water filming

• Individual work on turns

• Training recommendations

The clinic will consist of both reviewing specific stroke video’s and above and below water filming. Please note that this clinic will focus on the latest information on the four specific stroke techniques with the goal of perfecting your individual strokes.

COACHES:

The Head Coach of the clinic will be Olympic Coach Lois Daigneault (Head Coach SFAC)

The Assistant Coach will be New Mexico State Record holder and Olympic Trial qualifier Atiba Wade

WHEN:

March 31st-April 1st: Freestyle Clinic

April 28^th-29^th: Breastroke Clinic

June 2^nd-3^rd : IM Clinic

COST:

$100.00 per swimmer for the entire weekend (There will be a $5.00 processing fee)

(The camp will be limited to 25 swimmers and a minimum of 10 swimmers will be required to run the camp)

10:00-12:00 SWIM

12:00-12:30 LUNCH

12:30-2:00 FILM REVIEW

2:00-4:00 SWIM

WHAT TO BRING:

• BATHING SUIT

• GOGGLES

• CAP (IF YOU WEAR ONE)

• FINS

• WATER BOTTLE

OLYMPIC SWIMMER NATASA MESKOVSKA VISITS SFAC

1996 Olympic swimmer Natasa Meskovska will be in Santa Fe on Friday, January 20th to inspire and motivate our SFAC swimmers and families. Natasa was coached by Coach Lois in the 1996 Olympics and will be speaking at the GCCC from 4:30-6:00 PM. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to meet one of the world’s best 200 flyers!!!
